Mickie James

Mickie James originally started out as a Valet in numerous Independent promotions. Her passion led her to become a wrestler. In the independent scene Mickie held 6 championships in six different promotions. Mickie was signed to a developmental contract in late 2003. Mickie James made her WWE RAW Debut at WWE Homecoming in October of 2005. In her role, Mickie was an obsessed Trish Stratus fan. Mickie was very impressionable of Trish Stratus, and it made Trish more and more uncomfortable as time would progress. Mickie grew jealous of the friendship between Trish and Ashley Massaro. This would lead to repeated attacks from Mickie to Ashley which led to a match at the 2006 Royal Rumble. Mickie went on to defeat Ashley.

As time passed Mickie's character was billed as being a psycho. Trish finally found it within herself to tell Mickie that they needed time apart. This would lead to a rivalry between the two which led to a title match at Wrestlemania 22. Mickie James went on to defeat Trish Stratus, and win the WWE Women's Title. Mickie would hold the title until August 14 when she was defeated by Lita on RAW. Mickie went on to recapture the Women's Title on November 26, 2006 at the Survivor Series. Mickie would hold the title until February 19, 2007 as she lost it to Melina on an episode of RAW. Mickie regained the WWE Women's Championship a little over a year later on April 14th, 2008 edition of RAW. She held it until Summerslam 2008 when she lost it to Beth Phoenix in an intergender tag team match with James and Kofi Kingston versus Phoenix and Santino Marella.
