Sharmell

Before getting her start in professional wrestling, Sharmell won the Miss Black America pageant in 1991. Sullivan then moved on to start a career as a professional dancer. In 1999, Sullivan got a job as a Nitro Girl in WCW and went under the name Storm. She later moved on to become the valet of 'The Artist', and changed her name to Paisley. Sharmell made her wrestling debut on April 26, 2006 where she was victorious over Tammy Sytch. 'The Artist' was eventually released from the company. Sharmell went on to manage Kwee Wee.

After WCW was purchased by the WWE in 2001, Sharmell signed a developmental contract and trained in OVW. She would appear on Smackdown in 01' as a backstage interviewer. While training in OVW, Sharmell injured her knee and was eventually released. In 2005, Sullivan was rehired by the WWE, and she became the valet of real-life husband Booker T. She helped her husband win the United States title later that year by constantly interfering in matches. Nearly a year later on July 23, 2006, Booker T (now known as King Booker), captured the World Heavyweight Championship after defeating Rey Mysterio with the help of Chavo Guerrero. King Booker has held the title ever since.
